Properties of the water tanks

For Thailand’s third-largest sugar producer, we supplied 4 steel water through our long term partner. The biggest water tank of the four is a 500 m3 tank and has a diameter of 11,89 meter and a height of 4,57 meter. The second biggest tank stores up to 200 m3 and measures 9,14 x 3,05 meter. Two tanks have a capacity of 100 m3 and measure 5,49 x 4,57 meter.

Process water at Thailand’s third-largest sugar producer

Khon Buri, in the north east of Thailand is one of the core sugar cane growing regions. The proximity of the factory to the sugarcane fields, ensures an efficient supply of raw materials for the plant. The sugar factory processes sugarcane into raw, white, brown and refined sugar through several stages. Water plays a crucial role throughout these stages and processes, in which the NPI water storage tanks are of great importance. Large volumes of water are necessary to clean the sugar canes, and necessary for steam generation, cooling, water treatment and general cleaning.

Water storage is very important in numerous industries. Global food production needs to be increased continuously to achieve food security for all, but the lack of water management and resources complicate this. Many industries use large quantities of water, so it is very important to use it economically. Water storage tanks enable the recycling and reuse of water, making water usage much more efficient. Our water storage tanks can hold water for various industrial processes, which include rainwater harvesting, treatment, cooling and cleaning. Whether it is for small or large quantities of water, our wide range of available sizes ensure there is a water tank for every facility size.
