Project info
This tank was installed in Serbia last month. It is storing irrigation water for a renowned blueberry nursery. Our customer completed the ordered water tank with a tensioned anti-algae cover, but decided to install it only after winter. A wise decision, if you ask us.
Why? Usually algae have a difficult time thriving in cold weather. The sun is getting lower and they tend to grow less. For outdoor water storage installations this is the time to inspect your tank cover. Dirt, leaves, snow and large amounts of rain water can cause the cover to become heavy and impermeable. This might add unwanted inward forces on the supporting steel structure of your tank. We advise to remove the anti-algae cover when autumn starts. Clean it and store it. Place it back again in springtime.
