Irrigation water for tomatoes and cucumbers, Bulgaria

Horticulture and agriculture in Pazardzhik are well developed and play an important role in the region. Thanks to fertile soil, a warm climate and irrigation from a nearby river, the region is very suitable for growing fruits and vegetables. The most important crops are orchards, cereals and oilseeds. Greenhouse farming is also growing, and mostly tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers are produced.

For one of the greenhouse complexes in Lesitchovo, a village in Pazardjik, our dealer installed two NPI water tanks. In these greenhouses, tomatoes and cucumbers are grown. The tanks store groundwater extracted through drilling, which is used for irrigation. This ensures a reliable water supply and helps maintain stable growing conditions throughout the season.
