High-quality vegetables in Friesland
In our area, many cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes and strawberries are grown in professional greenhouses. To ensure a reliable water supply all year round, you can find plenty of metal water tanks and film basins at these greenhouses.
At one nearby greenhouse, we replaced the liner in one of their metal water tanks. The old liner had been in use for over 20 years, so it was time for a new one.
Supervision for liner replacement
Under our supervision, a small team from the greenhouse installed the new liner. With a diameter of 20.3 m and a height of 3.81 m, this was no small tank! The pouring rain made it a tough job, but after a few hours, the wall and bottom fleece was installed, the new liner was in place and all inlets were installed.
Refilling the tank got the irrigation system running again. Everything needed to keep producing top-quality cucumbers!
