Temporary water storage
For a leading global chemicals company we lined a temporary water basin. This company specializes in high-quality products and solutions for various industries, including pharmaceuticals, agriculture and coatings. They focus on innovative chemical processes and sustainable product development.
At the company’s site, all rainwater has been disconnected from the municipal sewer system. Part of this water is subsequently discharged into a close river. In case of heavy rainfall, they aim to create emergency storage on the site. Last week we lined a shallow concrete enclosure with two embankments. By lining this enclosure, we created a water basin that can manage excess rainwater during heavy rainfall.
The basin is installed on an unused section of the industrial site, providing a temporary yet robust solution for water storage. With the high-quality lining material, the basin is durable and reliable, ensuring safe rain water storage.
