High-quality eggs
A renowned egg farm in South Thailand ordered a metal water tank through our long-term Thai partner. This farm specializes in producing high-quality eggs. In addition, the farm has multiple demo greenhouses and parcels for cultivating vegetables, fruits and flowers. These demo nurseries aim to educate interested parties about agriculture and horticulture: the various crops, planting, cultivation and harvesting. Interested parties can be professionals, but school classes also invited for education.
Rainwater harvesting
The water tank installed on the property is a 360.3 m³ tank with a diameter of 10.97 meters and a height of 4.57 meters. Rainwater is harvested and collected in the tank, which is then used for various farm operations, such as watering crops, providing water for livestock and maintaining hygiene standards. The tank ensures a steady water supply throughout the year. Rain falls in abundance during the wet season and it is then very much needed during the dry season. Given the farm’s focus on fresh, high-quality eggs and being a horticultural learning center, water is critical for both animal welfare and crop cultivation practices.
