Water concession
A water service company in Phuket, Thailand, was granted the rights to manage water resources in the area. They provide high-quality water solutions for residential and commercial customers. Their services include water filtration, softening, purification and testing. For the collection of raw water, our longterm Thai dealer installed a water storage tank at the company. The tank has a diameter of 10,97 meters and a height of 3,26 meters. The company use the water tank to collect the raw water before processing it into water for supply.
Liner and cover
The 300m3 water tank was lined with an NPI liner; we produced a liner of our most frequently used lining material: ENPEX FPP, in a thickness of 0,75 mm. Also a tensioned anti-algae cover was installed, supported by a centre pole. This centre pole is positioned in the middle, and raises the center of the cover, creating a slope that prevents water from pooling on top. This way, the risk of damage to both the cover and the tank is minimised. This is a wise choice in regions like Phuket, where rainfall is substantial throughout the year.
