Demonstation greenhouse
Eleven NPI water tanks were installed in a demonstration greenhouse in Kunshan, near Shanghai. This greenhouse serves as a demonstration platform for cultivating various crops, including strawberries, tomatoes and lettuce. The installation was carried out by a Chinese dealer on behalf of the government in Kunshan, with a primary focus on showcasing nutrition and water management practices.
Sizes and covers
Ten water tanks are 3,05 m high, of which five have a diameter of 2,74 m and five have a diameter of 4,57 m. One tank has a height of 3,81 m and a diameter of 6,4 m. All water tanks are covered with with a tensioned anti algae cover to further prevent the growth of algae. It also ensures no debris can fall in the tank and less water evaporates.
