Winter water for the dry summer months
This NPI water tank has a height of 3,81 meter and a diameter of 18,29 meter. It was installed a property in South Portugal and serves for storing winter water for the dry summer months. This vast property definitely needs this water because they plan to organise festivals, include wellness and other water consuming activities. They offer an occupancy of 500 persons simultaneously, so proper water storage is indispensable.
A fully coated tank with an airfloat
The choice for a fully coated water tank in a dark green colour was made due aesthetic reasons. An airfloat anti-algae cover was installed, protecting the water against algae growth, reducing evaporation and preventing debris entering the tank. The cover material of the airfloat is covered with small, air-filled bubbles, which ensures the cover floats. The top layer of the cover is white, which reflects UV rays and makes sure the water doesn’t heat too much below the mighty Portuguese sun. The cover is UV-resistant, so the customers can count for years on their airfloat.
